Speak Up At CI 08

At most Club Industry conferences, at least one person asks me how to become a speaker at the conference. Typically, I put them in touch with the program manager for the two Club Industry shows, Stacy Orlick.

However, if you want to apply to be a speaker at the Club Industry 2008 show in October in Chicago, then our show group is making it even easier for you to be considered this year. Just go to the Club Industry conference Web site at www.national.clubindustryshow.com and click on the Become a Speaker link. You will find information about the conference, speaker requirements, submission guidelines and the selection process.

If you are interested, you'll need to act fast. The deadline to submit your speaker application is March 14.

Blogging At IHRSA

If you can't make it to the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association show next month in San Diego, make sure you log into our blog between March 5 and March 8 to see what you are missing. The three editors will be at the show, and we are committed to blogging about as many of the seminars, keynotes, events and exhibitors as we can.

E-mail me if there is a session you really wanted to attend had you been able to come to the conference. I'll try to ensure that one of the editors makes it to the most popular sessions as selected by you, our readers. Just e-mail those session numbers or titles to me at pam.kufahl@penton.com.
