AFAA Offers Personal Trainer Certification Discount
LOS ANGELES -- The Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) will offer its personal trainer certifications at lower prices in February during a special event, the Aerobics Professional Exposition, also known as APEX.
The goal of APEX, which will take place Feb. 6-8 in more than 20 U.S. cities, is to make high-quality certifications affordable through $99-a-day-per-program workshops. Certification costs, which include study materials and exams, range in the hundreds of dollars, according to industry surveys.
AFAA certifies in personal training, group exercise, Step aerobics and kickboxing. The organization also educates and trains people within other specialties that include Pilates, yoga, indoor cycling, injury prevention and more.
Early registration is recommended for special discounts on AFAA’s new products.
