Health Fitness Corp. Signs On with UL

MINNEAPOLIS — Health Fitness Corp. (HFC) has been selected by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) to manage a new health fitness center on UL's Northbrook, IL.

“Underwriters Laboratories has earned its reputation as the leader in U.S. product safety and certification.” Health Fitness President and CEO Jerry Noyce states. “HFC is proud to gain their ‘seal of approval’ to improve the health and well-being of their employees and help offer this key benefit.”

The new 7,000 square foot health and fitness center features first-class facilities, a wide array of strength, a cardiovascular exercise equipment, group activity classes, professional trainers, and a variety of wellness programs, according to UL and HFC.

“UL's employees are what shape this organization and we're happy to offer this benefit to Northbrook staff. We want to provide a full-service facility that is cost-effective, convenient for staff to access, and that our people really enjoy using,” said Barry Lubin, senior vice president-planning and development at Underwriters Laboratories. “We're looking forward to the [success] of the fitness center and know it will be well utilized.”
