Corporate Fitness Program Trains Employees to Run a Marathon

PHOENIX -- The P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n Roll Arizona Marathon & 1/2 Marathon issued a Get Fit Challenge to businesses and government agencies throughout North America. Large and small organizations are encouraged to form a team of employees and train for the fourth annual musical marathon and half marathon on Jan. 14, 2007.

“We designed the ‘Get Fit Challenge’ as a way for organizations to encourage employees to lead more active lifestyles, to build camaraderie and to participate in a unique and fun sporting event,” said Dawn Reichert the event’s manager. “We encourage both runners and walkers to join.”

The Get Fit Challenge consists of three divisions – small company (100 or fewer employees), large company (over 100 employees) and government agencies. Awards will be presented to the winner of each division based on overall participation.

Each member of a Get Fit Challenge team will receive $10 off the individual entry price.
For more information email or call Stacey Campbell at scampbell@eliteracing.com or 602-957-8881. Organizations must register online at www.RnRaz.com by Dec. 15.
